Dive Team

Responsibilities & Services

The Crow Wing County Dive Rescue Team was formed in 1987 and is made up of civilian volunteers who are dedicated to the rescue of water accident victims and to the recovery of drowning victims. Currently there are 10 dedicated volunteers who participate in the Dive Rescue Team. They donate their time, knowledge, ability and equipment to assist the county. The team is trained in open water, swift water, limited/no visibility and ice diving. The team trains monthly in a variety of different conditions.

The Crow Wing County Dive Rescue Team is funded entirely through donations. The Dive Rescue Team depends on the generosity of organizations and businesses for support. Each year the team receives a generous donation from the Adam Sellheim Memorial Golf Tournament.
